Making a Difference: Compassionate Care
“At eight months, our dog Crockett was diagnosed with double hip dysplasia.
Our local veterinarians were not optimistic, so we sought treatment at Texas A&M.
Since receiving his first total hip replacement in 2018,
we have been back for several additional surgeries.
After our first experience with Texas A&M’s outstanding orthopedics team,
there was no question—Crockett was having subsequent surgeries done at Texas A&M.
We received compassionate care funds to assist in paying for Crockett’s surgeries,
and it’s likely you will never understand how touched we were by this gesture.
It literally moved us to tears.”
